The evaluation phase of the leading innovation competition for Satellite Navigation comes up with some results. The winners will not be disclosed until the Awards Ceremony in December but the finalists of the Galileo Prize Hesse can already be revealed now.
Melior Systems around Sergiu Artene, Cesar Prados Boda and Carmen Blasco convinced with its submission of a "A Time and Frequency Synchronization from Space".
They propose to combine PRS Galileo service and GNSS common view technique to achieve:
⦁ 1-digit nanosecond secure synchronization accuracy among Galileo PRS and/or non-PRS receivers
⦁ increase security, detect and warn against spoofing and jamming of attacks of PRS and non-PRSE receivers
With "Racing Hilde” Dario Hergarden managed to reach the finals as well.
Racing Hilde is a digital risk manager for motor fleet companies.
We use satellite technology to reduce accident costs and make drivers more responsible.
Stefan Frey from Vyoma had a convincing idea with "Autonomous Space Operations”.
With its own satellite constellation, Vyoma aims to observe space objects with unprecedented frequency. This enables us to support - and ultimately automate - space operations, thereby promoting confidence in space.
