Yes, of course! The two best teams will win a cash prize (1st: 1.500€, 2nd: 1000€) and there are also some special prizes assigned to specific challenges, check out the challenge descriptions to find out more!

Yes, it will be a hybrid event, so you don't necessarily need to be present in Darmstadt in order to participate. However, you will unfortunately miss out on most of our additional fun activities if you participate remotely, so we strongly reccommend joining in person for the full experience!

Both is possible, you can participate with friends or find your team at the event. The virtual pre-hackathon can help you with this :)

An optional pre-event a week before the Climathon for those who want to get to know the other participants and talk about which challenges to choose in advance.

Yes, of course, everyone (above 18) is welcome! So whether you are a university student, an employee at a company or someone who has already retired, please don't hesitate to join us!

Aber klar! Die beiden besten Teams werden mit Geldpreisen prämiert (1.: 1.500€, 2.: 1.000€), zusätzlich wird es bei manchen Challenges Spezialpreise geben, die Details dazu findet ihr in den Challengebeschreibungen!

Ja, es handelt sich um eine Hybrid-Veranstaltung, d.h. ihr müsst nicht unbedingt in Darmstadt anwesend sein, um teilzunehmen. Allerdings verpasst ihr bei einer Remote-Teilnahme leider die meisten unserer zusätzlichen Aktivitäten. Wir empfehlen daher dringend, persönlich teilzunehmen!

Ein optionales Vorab-Meeting etwa eine Woche vor dem Climathon, bei dem alle die möchten schon einmal die anderen Teilnehmenden kennen lernen und über die verschiedenen Challenges sprechen können.

3-5 Leute bilden das perfekte Team - versucht, unterschiedliche Fähigkeiten zu kombinieren, damit ihr möglichst viele Blickwinkel auf die Challenge habt.
